today in media I Anallise different openings to films we watched the opening to James bond and then created the story boards and wrote down all the angles and shots needed for it . I was also able to start the script for the short promo .  for our story we have goes for you basic kid napping and killing plot and we have decided that out production company is called blade productions and the name of the film is called trafficked or cludo  as you are guessing who is the killer . the story is being set in the woods and we have 3 police men on the case . This is going to be a crime with also action and romance rolled in to one. The locations we are using are erddige park , yale college ect . places around wrexham.
 here are a few  opening sequences for example .

In this sequence I liked how they created effects around the protagonist it was very captivating and interesting and has give me some ideas of what i would like to do.The music is also interesting as it is you traditional James bond theme music but the music its self makes you think of a spy sneaking around  which is perfect for the crime genre.

Here is the opening sequence to the hot fuzz movie I think its the perfect example of what a crime prelim should look like it is not only a crime genre but also a commidey which sis hard to do and actually  engae the audeance without  it losing comidey. I like how they have  made each scene sharp with how its flimed as well as the music as it puts you on edge.

this sequence is from batman I like how it  was filmed as it keeps to the theme of it being dark for a crime genre as it has a  superhero protagonist  such as most crime films  but the way each shot is filmed is interesting . It goes on for a little to long but is every creative the way its been done  as well as the  tenis e music they have created for the start of the film it fits in with the style perfectly.

today we created mood boards i brought in news paper letters iv cut out so i could spell words for what is happening. we also cut up old magazines and stuck them on card . after we completed that we then deiced on what our final dissishion  was . we created character names and how many we need , as well as camera angles, lighting , locations for certain  scenes ,props,what actors we know to use for what part and when we could film it .
 In my mood board I decided to add pictures of actors such as people who look sinecal and who looks like they could play the part of being in the organ trafficking business.
I have also included location pictures such as the woods and office rooms for a definition of where i would like to place the  prelim for settings .
I have also have named  it cluedo to start with  because it is a mystery who the killer is as he is not revealed.
Also  I have added small words of what I want to represent in the prelim such as kidnap.  Also I have added pictures of costumes .

To day we discuses what order the title sequences go in and learn t how to do them also we watch a start of a film called war of men and watch 5 minuets of that to see how they start of a film and make you want to watch more of it as well as seeing how the title sequence is done .we then decided on what we could do in our own video . we then created a mind map  of what we wanted  and of what would be good .
I was sadly unable to find any videos of this film on you tube to attache to my blog . The film starts of with a news report in a bakery about the youngest person in the world who is an 18 year old has been killed and then the next scene is when the bakery blows up  . it is a Apocalypse style film about what would happen if humans stopped reproducing.

today in media weave discuses what our tarrt ot a film will be we looked at  6 clips of different crime themed films and then picked similarity between them all what they all have in common so that then its easyer for us to make a plan for our   start of a film.
for my groups short film i have planed to do  a spy crime scene ,
The plot is a simple  one i may turn it in to a  crime .
the main character is the inspector who is trying to solve a murder who is stealing organs from his victims.
The locations i have chosen for this are outside of g block at yale college , around the corner at the back of g block and the black room which is used by performing arts department , erddig forest .

for costume im going to make it a modern day fashion for this i mean the bad guys will be in  black suites and the the privet eye will be in normal clothes such as leather jacket  and also the main victim will just wear normal clothes . The only props I will be using is a knife and fake blood.
 I have decided to make the film a 15 to 18 as I want it to appeal to a wide range of people so that anybody can  watch it also it is much easier  to make a prelim for people my age.

The camera angles I am using are P.O.V back to back shot , wide angle shot , long lenght wide angle shot , mid length shot and 180% shot  also a reaction shot .
 The idea like torcher games and obstacles that get in the way .

media project

The task we were set in media was to create a  prelim which is the start of a film  and our genre  we were given was crime and was also give certain shots we need for the prelim such as 180 degree , rule , shot reverse shot , match on match action.



In my prelim I filmed in the amount of time before the dead line and was able to use the camra and tripod . also learnt  to use the camera  and tripod and how to edit . we kept to a simple plot and was able to  keep on the task needed doing . we were also able to use the different angle shots needed .

I have learn t that if you film from a cerietring angle you need to keep track save suddenly changing in the middle of filming because the viewer will notice .I also learnt what angles would help with certain shots wanted for our prelim . also i have learn t how to edit on a computer .such as cutting each clip for fit . also how to add sound on to the prelim as well .

I could plan the location a bit more to make sure we have a define room for filming insted of having to look for at last minute , have the entire group show up for filming so that we can all pitch in and work as a team what what angles i film from , also continuity.
